From The Rhino CD Booklet
As his song says, Denny Randell is a Native New Yorker. And it was there at the age of 19 he began his professional music career, one that has led to hit songs in every decade from the 60’s through to the 2000’s.
This album features selected songs from Denny’s over 45 U.S. Billboard hits, many also internationally, and other favorites.
Let’s Hang On, Working My Way Back To You and Opus 17 (Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me) are the 3 songs of Denny’s featured in the Tony Award winning Broadway Show Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons,
Many other songs of Denny’s have been recorded by Frankie and the Seasons including one of Frankie’s top solo hits Swearin To God.
In addition to their other songs and recordings, Randell & Schippers have themselves scored 3 national dance hits as artists,
including their dance, mix radio and animated video hit Alice In Wonderland.

Denny’s success with dance music is not new.
In the crowning disco era of the ‘70s when the top radio hits and the hottest records in the clubs were one and the same, Denny fused his love of various styles, such as R&B, Jazz and Big Band, and in addition to Frankie Valli’s 11 minute Big Band radio and club hit ‘Swearin to God’, he created such Pop/Dance crossover hits as
I Wanna Dance Wit’Choo for Disco Tex and his Sex-O-lettes and Odyssey’s international classic Native New Yorker,
as well as others to be featured on future volumes of Denny’s songs.
Keeping The Ball Rolling!
As Denny is still turning out new songs
and new recordings, there will always be
surprises for those fans who love to hear his music and the back stories behind the hits he tells during his shows.

Thanks to Fans, Music Lovers!
Denny: “I thank everyone everywhere who loves music and is a fan of my songs. For a writer that’s what it’s all about and without your wonderful response I would have never made a sound or spoken a word and never have been successful at what I do. From my heart to yours, Thank You!.”
